My fitness journey began in Baltimore, MD when I was very young. As a tall, skinny athlete at an early age, I instantly took an interest in exercising to gain muscle and increase my sports performance. Personal training has been an interest of mine since 2003, and I began working as a gym hand at the University of Maryland, College Park. After graduating and taking a few years to pursue an engineering career, I realized that my heart was still in fitness. In 2011, I became certified through the National Council of Strength and Fitness and started training part-time as a second job. At the time I was manager of Vitamin Shoppe in Towson, MD, which provided me with a huge base of knowledge concerning sports nutrition and the science of supplementation. After that, I landed myself in the GM role of a popular gym franchise in early 2012. Then starting at the beginning of 2014, I began training full-time on my own, working with clients in the gym and at home. In early 2019 I began working on my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification and finalized the process in August 2019. This was also the beginning of my relocation to the south and moved to Tampa, FL in early 2020. Upon arriving in Tampa I was offered a job at LA Fitness Signature Club in Tampa and was immediately responsible for program design and maintenance of 35+ clients. Then as gyms closed in March 2020, I took the opportunity to begin doing virtual sessions with clients and launched my online platform. When gyms opened back up in May 2020, I became part of the team at PRIDE Strength Training, located in Tampa, FL, where I was the general manager and strength and conditioning coach until January of 2023.
